We can offer flexible arrangements to suit you. Our respite rooms are modern and comfortable and offer the very latest assisted bathing and hygiene facilities. We draw up a tailored care plan that is individual to you and your care needs whilst you are with us.

We warmly welcome our short term guests and our friendly, encouraging staff do their best to get to know you, help you settle in and enjoy as many of our facilities as possible including; home cooked meals; sociable sitting areas; afternoon tea; beautiful gardens and a varied activities programme.

We offer rehabilitation care for elderly people who need care and support following a period in hospital or illness at home. Our role is to help them get back on their feet as soon as possible, so that they can return to living in their own homes. We can offer assistance with all aspects of daily living and work with health professionals (e.g. Community Occupational Therapists) to support individual progress. If domiciliary care is required on returning home, we can offer an ongoing comprehensive and personalised service of Home Care through our team of dedicated and trained care team.

Some clients continue to keep in touch and are confident in the knowledge that we are on hand to help in the future – this could be with Home Care, Meals on Wheels further Re-ablement Care or Respite Care.

There are times when an elderly person’s needs can no longer be met at home. At such a time a review will be held with the prospective resident or their representative to discuss the options available.

Our manager will make an assessment to ensure that we can meet their needs. This could include gathering a variety of information and, if necessary, visiting the prospective resident in their own home. In the case of Social Services involvement we would then ensure that a written statement of care needs is obtained from a health care professional.

Emergency admissions are accepted in certain circumstances. Essentially, we have to ensure that our homes are the homes of the resident’s choice and that we are fully able to meet individual needs and choices.

We will prepare a written plan as to how we will meet your needs, wishes, likes and dislikes. This plan will be written with your involvement and regularly reviewed in conjunction with an assigned key worker.

Our fees are competitive and are based on a set charge for each individual room. There may be an additional charge for those with higher dependencies and needs.
