Orchard Care (South West) Ltd is a small Care Organisation
consisting of two medium sized care homes
 

Pine Lodge is situated in a residential area of
Weston-Super-Mare. Registered for 21 elderly people,
the home also provides Respite Care and Long Term Care
along with some Day Care facilities.
This is all provided within a comparatively modern building renowned for its light and airy feel.

Shire House is in Lyme Regis on the Devon/Dorset border. Registered for 22 elderly persons, the home provides high quality care from a delightful Edwardian property overlooking Lyme Bay and the Jurassic coast. The home provides permanent Residential care along with dedicated beds for Respite Care as well as having the facilities for a number of Day Care placements.

Both homes are managed individually under the control of our main organisation. Having a registered nurse background, both Directors of Orchard Care South West Ltd are ideally qualified to ensure that high standards of care are offered and maintained throughout the organisation. Both of our homes have been awarded a ‘Good’ standard or rating by the Commission for Social Care and inspection.

News in Brief

• We are currently seeking to acquire a third Care Home within the South West region.
• Shire House development: We currently have planning permission for a 20 bedded extension incorporating “Chatterton”, the house next door. This will allow us to offer a broader range of care services to the local community.
• Pine Lodge: Plans will shortly be drawn up to allow for a new passenger lift.
• Orchard Care: We will shortly be advertising for the post of Organisation Coordinator. This person will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the organisation as well as supporting the homes’ individual managers in their administrative tasks.
