What’s happening at Pine Lodge?

Home Care

Having cared for our first 'Re-ablement' client we are now providing a package of care to our clients in their own home. We have been able to do this thanks to our having gained registration as a home care agency from the Care Quality Commission.

Our new service is called 'Pine Lodge Home Care'. With our new registration we are able to care for elderly people in the community, with or without previous contact with Pine Lodge!

Pine Lodge Care will be managed by Helen Fuller who has recently managed our Care Home 'Pine Lodge'. We are convinced that Helen will make as good a job with the home care as she did with improving the Care Home.

New Manager

We would like to welcome our new manager: Anne Morley. Anne has previously run a local day centre as well as caring for elderly people in the commmunity. As well as taking the lead in the day to day running of Pine Lodge Care Home she will assist in the running of 'Pine Lodge Home Care' that operates from the same site.

We offer Anne a warm welcome and we wish her a happy and rewarding career with Orchard Care (SW) Ltd.

Plans

We are still awaiting the completion of our plans for our 'close care' units at Pine Lodge. The idea is to build two ground floor, self contained units that will enable us to offer a more comprehensive service to the local community.
