At Pine Lodge we encourage our residents to remain as independent as possible.
Our home cooked meals are served in the dining room or may be taken in the privacy of your own room.
We are happy to cater for different diets and requirements and offer a choice from the scheduled menu. Most of our supplies are locally sourced and we encourage our residents to make a contribution in the choice of meals.
Hairdressing and chiropody are arranged 'in house' if required although we do encourage and assist people to maintain contact with outside services, when appropriate.
We hold regular activities at Pine Lodge where everyone is encouraged to join in if they wish.
Pine Lodge is also visited regularly by local doctors and community nurses, who assist with any medical needs and requirements.
Residents' views are also sought with regard to many aspects of the day to day running of Pine Lodge. The manager holds regular meetings with residents in order to acquire these views. A programme of gentle activities is held from Monday to Friday and is available to all those who feel so inclined.
To the front of the property is a delightful rose garden that provides a seating area that is a definite favourite on warmer days.
There is also a short and level walk around the garden as well as an opportunity to be involved with the many plants and hanging baskets that blossom, especially in the summer months.
